Cost effective dimming solutions

While we agree that mains dimming of LED strip is a great method as these days the top level ones have such a smooth dimming curve it gives off seamless lighting output when working in a modern lighting system making it a no brainer. Sometimes though , cost plays a part and it's nice to look for other solutions which might help the customer get close to a similar solution but for a cheaper price. Take this simple 12v touch panel dimmer, this wouldn't look out of place in any new modern build or refurb, powered by the correct driver it can run up to 20m of standard LED strip, easily controlling all the lighting in a kitchen, lounge etc. It's nice to know that there are other options out there sometimes that can provide a similar solution.
